What is ASP.NET Core / .NET 10 and why we use it
ASP.NET Core is Microsoft's open-source, cross-platform web framework; .NET 10 is its latest long-term-support release. It runs on Linux servers, ranks among the fastest web frameworks in the world and powers the most critical systems from banking to e-commerce. At Saybes we develop everything on the server side with this platform, from corporate websites to management panels, from customer portals to mobile app APIs.
Why .NET? Because performance, security and sustainability come together: built-in authentication and authorisation, data access with Entity Framework Core, a strong type system and test infrastructure, and Microsoft's regular annual release calendar. The code we write remains maintainable and extensible five years later; .NET developers are easy to find in Türkiye, so our clients never depend on us.
Saybes's own website, Mat Garaj's web + panel system, Aves Certification's certificate portal, İş Vinç's management panel, the Fonvio e-commerce platform and MatCRM all run on ASP.NET Core. No. Since .NET Core it runs on Linux and macOS; we deploy our projects on Linux servers with Docker.
Why .NET instead of WordPress?+
For projects that need custom workflows, panels, integrations and performance, an off-the-shelf CMS becomes limiting. We do use WordPress for simple brochure sites; the decision depends on the need.
Can another team take over maintenance of the code?+
Yes. Standard architecture, documentation and the large .NET ecosystem in Türkiye make hand-over easy.
Can you extend our existing .NET project?+
